We’re excited to share the progress of another one of our past participants: Makayla Rawlins! After participating in the summer 2021 online workshop Makayla completed an internship at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA before starting a graduate program in conservation.

Brooklyn Museum of Art this year.


Intern Highlight #6: Daniella Villamil

Were excited to share the progress of another one of our past participants: Daniella Villamil! After participating in the 2019 workshop and the subsequent 2020 internship
program at the Brooklyn Museum she has some exciting news to share!


Intern Highlight #5: Kevin Torres-Spicer

We’re excited to share the progress of another one of our past participants: Kevin Torres-Spicer. Kevin was born and raised in Quito-Ecuador. He moved to the U.S. in 2005, attended Citrus Community College, and transferred to California Polytechnic University- Pomona, where he earned a BA in Art History.


Intern Highlight #4: Nhat Quyen Nguyen

We’re excited to share the progress of another one of our past participants: Nhat Quyen Nguyen! After earning her B.S., she attended the 2018 workshop. Nhat also participated in the subsequent 2019 internship program at the Textile Museum at George Washington
University.


Intern Highlight #3: Kei Takahashi

We’re excited to share the progress of another one of our past participants: Kei Takahashi! After participating in the 2018 workshop Kei completed the subsequent 2019 internship program at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NY. She is currently studying Organic Chemistry and preparing for graduate school.


Intern Highlight #2: Ana Garcia

We’re excited to share the progress of another one of our past participants: Ana Garcia! After participating in the 2018 workshop Ana completed the subsequent 2019 internship program at the National Gallery of Art in D.C. She is currently assisting the conservation team at Watts Towers, through the Los Angeles Country Museum of Art. Due to the COVID pandemic she has been able to assist in archiving records related to this iconic heritage site from home.

We’re excited to share the progress of one of our past participants: Cheyenne Caraway! After participating in the 2018 workshop in Los Angeles and completing the subsequent internship program in 2019, Cheyenne is well on her way to a future career in conservation!
